Weekly Download: Illustrator Brushes, Series 4 20 custom vector-based Art Brushes By Dave Nagel This week we present our fourth collection of Art Brushes for Adobe Illustrator, a series of individually designed brushes that emulate the appearance of wet paint strokes. The brushes this week are smaller than the ones found in previous collections, but more numerous, with 20 brushes in total.

Our collection of Art Brushes this week includes 20 brush tips, varying in shape and depth. All of the brushes in this collection are designed to resemble wet strokes. This time around, the brushes are created at 50 pixels or smaller to accommodate tighter strokes (as well as to make for a smaller download). All of the strokes have wet-style edges, building up in thickness and depth toward the center, and also grow darker when brushed on top of one another. (You can modify this effect by manually switching the blending mode of the brushes.) And, of course, all can be tinted to the colors of your liking.

Here's a sampling of the brushes in this collection.

These brushes are designed to work on Macintosh and Windows systems running Adobe Illustrator 10 and Illustrator CS. Continue on to the next page for download and installation instructions.
